The voice quality is excellent and support is reliable however they do not currently offer a fax support so if you need a fax number you'll want to look elsewhere. Their $19.95/mo residential plan is fantastic and competitively priced. Again, their call quality is excellent!
One of the things that really sets Packet8 apart is their VideoPhone plan. For $99 you can get their video phone and then it's only $19.95 for the unlimited calling. If you have friends or family that you call a lot then the VideoPhone plan is fantastic. You don't need anything special for this to work and the phone they offer is excellent.
For small business owners Packet8 offers an unlimited Virtual Office plan for $39.95/mo. This plan offers 3-digit extension to extension dialing, conferencing, conference bridge, business-class voicemail, hunt groups and unlimited calling. The call quality is among the best in the industry and their low prices are nice to match:) We highly recommend Packet8 but one draw back is their E911 emergency calling is an extra $1.50/mo. and has a $9.95 activation.
