Skype - Full Review

Skype's VoIP solution is one of the best ways to make calls using the internet. Sometimes the quality isn't as good as claimed but with over 33 million active users, cheap rates when calling outside of the Skype network of users (.023 cents per minute) Skype is amazing. Absolutely free to download, easy to use, no contracts, easy uninstall.

Skype has a few nice extras including their Global User Directory, a giant phone book of Skype users so you can get in touch with a lot of random people:) Their system is also an IM so you can instant message and talk at the same time. Because they are free and work with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, PDAs with Pocket PC, Skype is a no brainer if you want to try out VoIP. They were also recently purchased by ebay for several billion dollars so you can expect great improvements and more members shortly.
